Patricia Sena-Bolding, Physical Therapist
Trish is originally from Santa Fe, NM and graduated from University of New Mexico with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1992. She has a passion for children and has been specialized and working in Pediatric Physical Therapy for over 22 years. She has training in NDT, sensory processing, myofascial release and craniosacral therapy. Trish has been married to her husband, Bret, who is an active duty US Marine, for 25 years. She has followed him where his career has taken him, so has had the opportunity and privilege to work with babies and children all across the US as well as volunteering her services in an orphanage in Okinawa, Japan. In her spare time she loves attending her children's sporting events, playing tennis and participating in Bible studies.
Shameeka Latham, Office Manager
Shameeka Latham is a Craven County native that resides in the Vanceboro area. She is the proud parent of three beautiful children. She is a 2012 graduate of Craven Community College. In her free time she likes to read and spend time with her family. Shameeka joined the TheraPlay Junction family in January 2012 as an Administrative Assistant.
Maranda was born in Knoxville, TN but grew up in Cove City, NC. She just recently moved back to the New Bern area with her son. She enjoys educating families about Congenital Heart Defects, Epilepsy, and Mental Health issues. She has done a lot of volunteer work with Easter Seals UCP and with Triangle Mended Little Hearts in Wake County, NC. In her free time, she loves swimming, reading and watching movies. She is thrilled to be a part of the TheraPlay Junction family.
Maranda Duff, Administrative Assistant
Originally from Delaware, Megan has been in NC since 2011 and decided to return to college to pursue a career as a PTA. Megan graduated with honors in 2015 from Martin Community College and joined the TheraPlay Junction team in summer of 2015. Megan and her husband, Adam, have one four year old son. Megan enjoys hanging out with her family, traveling, and riding horses as much as possible!
Megan Biasi, Physical Therapist Assistant
Michelle Lowry has been actively working in the field of Occupational Therapy since 1996. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University and then earned her Masters Of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State. She has experience working with both children and adults in home, clinic, residential, and school settings. Her special interests when working with children are in regards to feeding and sensory integration issues.

Melissa Dixon, Speech-Language Pathologist
Melissa came to North Carolina in 1989 from South Dakota and has been here ever since. She attended East Carolina University. She is married and has four children. Currently she is active in church and children’s choir, scrapbooking, sewing, and reading. She assists with team sports that her children are involved in and attends many sports and activities at East Carolina University. Melissa is employed with TheraPlay Junction as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
JoAnne Melton is a 1994 graduate of Martin Community College. She has been treating pediatric patients with TheraPlay Junction since January-2010. JoAnne also enjoys working with the geriatric population in her contract positions with the nursing home. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, James and her two teenage children.

Megan grew up in Virginia and graduated from Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory, NC in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She moved to Jacksonville the same year and began working in a pediatric clinic. She has been working with children for over 7 years in a private, outpatient clinic setting. Megan has extensive training in sensory processing, feeding and, craniosacral therapy. Megan has been married to her husband Nick for 6 years and they have a son, Kellan. In her spare time, Megan loves spending time with her family, running, crafting, and travelling.
Megan Brauninger, Occupational Therapist
Alyssa was raised in Berwick, Pennsylvania and obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Campbell University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences located in Buies Creek, North Carolina in December of 2016. Alyssa is also a 2012 graduate of Lebanon Valley College located in Pennsylvania where she obtained her Bachelor of Health Science degree. Since the age of 10, Alyssa grew up competitively swimming which has led to many opportunities to teach children how to swim and to coach age group swimming which is where her passion for pediatrics began. In her spare time, Alyssa loves to spend time at the beach, swim, visit her family, and spend time with her dog Nala. Alyssa has been with the TheraPlay Junction team since March of 2017.
Alyssa Slusser, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Jessi is a Craven County native who currently resides with her husband and two children in Greenville, NC. She graduated from East Carolina University with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2005. She has worked in pediatric private practice for brief periods of her career as well as in the acute care setting at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, now Vidant Medical Center. She has spent the last 7 years as a therapist in the school system for Craven County. She began her career with Theraplay Junction in September 2015. Jessi has training in Handwriting without Tears, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, and Interactive Metronome. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and cheering on the East Carolina Pirates!

Anna Leonard, Occupational Therapist
Anna is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota where she graduated from the College of St. Catherine in 1981 with her degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked in Adolescent/Adult Psychiatry in St. Paul, MN and Spinal Cord Injury at the VA in Memphis, TN. Anna moved to North Carolina in 2003 where she worked for PORT Human Services. She changed her specialty to pediatrics in 2009 and joined TheraPlay Junction in July 2016. Anna has enjoyed her professional career as an OT along with leisure activities including ballet, ballroom dancing, art, music and travel to Alaska, Japan, Europe and the Caribbean.
Lauren Lee, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Lauren was raised in Northern Virginia and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical School of Northwestern University in December of 2004. Lauren has two children with her husband Tommy, who is an active duty US Marine. Due to her husband’s job, Lauren has had the opportunity to live in numerous places in the US and practice physical therapy in a variety of clinical settings. She has experience working with both adults and children but has dedicated herself to pediatric physical therapy since 2008. Lauren makes a conscious effort to be sensitive to the individual needs of each child and their family by remembering the motto, “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Lauren and her family live in Surf City, NC and stays busy with activities related to her family, faith, and fun.
Ann Powers, Occupational Therapist
Ann Powers is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist who received her bachelor's of science degree in occupational therapy from Dominican College. She has worked as a therapist for over 30 years. Ann has experience working with adults in a variety of settings including acute care and short term rehab, as well pediatrics within school settings. Ann works in the Craven County Schools in the Havelock area, working in school based regular and special education classes. She is expanding her scope of practice to include working with children in the clinic. She brings many years of working with children with various diagnoses such as Autism, PDD, ADD/ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Learning Disabilities. She enjoys working with children of all ages and helping them to achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential.
Donna Williford, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Donna Williford is a Craven County native who currently resides with her husband and two children in Vanceboro, N.C. She graduated from Pitt Community College Occupational Therapy Assistant program with Associate of Applied Science, Occupational Therapy Assistant degree in December 2015. Prior to pursuing Occupational Therapy Assistant Donna worked with Craven County Schools Child Nutrition program for 18 years. She and her husband have two children, Jacob 16 and Alysa 9. Alysa was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth and was a patient with TheraPlay Junction, Inc. from birth to age 5. Though the years of witnessing Alysa conquer goals inspired Donna to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, competition pistol shooting with her husband and son, and enjoying life.
Sara Keenan, Occupational Therapist
Sara Keenan grew up in Rocky Mount, NC and graduated from Appalachian State University in 2007 with her Bachelors in Spanish. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from East Carolina University in 2014. Sara began her career as a pediatric occupational therapist as part of the TheraPlay Junction team in April of 2015. Sara has special interests in sensory processing, feeding, and autism spectrum disorders. In her spare time, Sara enjoys sending time with her family, traveling, and gardening.
Lisa Brisson, Physical Therapist
Lisa is originally from Piedmont North Carolina, however, she spent a few years in Pennsylvania and Maryland during junior high and high school. In 2002, she graduated St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Horsemanship. She then attended Winston-Salem State University, where she received her Master’s In Physical Therapy. In the past 10 years, she has worked with a variety of populations from pediatrics to geriatrics, in a variety of settings. She has continuing education in Total Body Motion (TMR), Craniosacral Integration, Vestibular Manipulation, Acupressure released, Vestibular rehabilitation, and a certification in Integrative Dry Needling (CIDN). Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband Thaniel and their little boy Isaac, going to the beach, horseback riding, and crafting.
Sarah Carraway, Occupational Therapist
Sarah grew up all over the country as part of a military family, and currently lives in Jacksonville, NC with her husband Luke, an active duty US Marine. She completed undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University. Sarah has focused her work on outpatient pediatrics and early intervention since then, and values working closely with families and children together to reach their goals. In her spare time, Sarah loves spending time with her husband and young son, visiting close friends, traveling, reading, and being outdoors!
Anna Franklin, Occupational Therapist
Anna was raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She graduated from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania in 2010 with her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Her career as an OT has followed her through various moves with her husband, Luke, who is an active duty US Marine. Her passion for pediatric occupational therapy was ignited during their first move to the Jacksonville area in 2011. Anna returned to this area in the summer of 2017, when she began working at TheraPlay Junction. Anna has experienced and received additional training with feeding and oral sensory-motor techniques, craniosacral therapy, handwriting interventions, and reflex integration exercises. When away from the clinic, Anna loves to spend time with her family (Luke and she has two young boys), go running, do crafts, and cook favorite recipes for her family and friends to enjoy.
Erin Curley, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Erin is an Eastern North Carolina native. She has a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University. Erin has worked in the pediatric setting since finishing PT school and has worked with patients with diagnoses such as developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, myelomeningocele, Down syndrome, arthrogryposis, brain injury, and spinal cord injury to name a few. She also has a special interest in orthotics, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment to help children reach their greatest potential. Erin believes in working as a team with her patients and their families to promote lifelong health and wellness. Outside of physical therapy, Erin enjoys spending time out in nature, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband, Dan, and pug, Murphy.
Meredith Pait, Occupational Therapist
Meredith Pait is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist who received her bachelor’s of science degree in occupational therapy from East Carolina University in 2001. Meredith has worked in pediatrics in a variety of settings including, outpatient clinic, home health, developmental preschools/daycares, and public and charter schools. She has worked with children with various diagnoses. Meredith works in Craven County Schools and is now expanding her skills to include working with children in the clinic setting again. Meredith enjoys spending time with her family and friends and she enjoys reading.
Heather Fowler, Occupational Therapist
Heather was born and raised in Connecticut. She graduated from Bay Path University in Massachusetts with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2018. Heather moved to the area August of 2018 to live with her husband, who is an active duty U.S. Marine. Heather has always aspired to become a pediatric OT and she’s thrilled to become part of the TPJ team. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time at the beach, crafting, and exploring with her husband and rescue dog, Abby.
